Welcome to the official website of The Best Dam Ride Ever! We are a nonprofit organization made up of dedicated members from the Patagonia, Jefferson Townships, Hermitage, and West Middlesex Fire Departments. Our mission is to organize exciting community events that raise funds to support firefighters and their departments, helping us acquire equipment, training, and resources that allow us to better serve and protect the communities we proudly call home.

The Bayview ORV area is now open at the Shenago Lake.
BDRE staff went for a ride around the outer loop to see how our repair work is holding up with all the rain we have been having. We were pleasantly surprised to see that all the drainage to the big holes is working and that the newly graded sections were getting compacted and smoothed out. Some of the big holes that were undrainable, we built trail around them. Those of you that want to play in the mud still have that option.
